Days

Delete your account

There are two ways to delete your Days account and its data. The first is instant; the second is for people who no longer have the app installed.

What deletion removes

Deleting your account is permanent. Once processed, we remove:

  • Your profile row (display name, birthday, profile picture, vibes/medium preferences, background unlock state).
  • Every cloud-synced day you own (title, date, colours, icon, notes, location, attached image — the image file too).
  • Any active share links you created (share codes stop working immediately).
  • Your premium entitlement flag (an active paid subscription must be cancelled separately in Google Play — see below).

We cannot restore any of this after the fact. If you only want to wipe the days but keep your profile, use Erase days inside the app instead of deleting your account.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (fastest)

If you still have Days installed:

  1. Open Days on your phone.
  2. Tap the profile / settings icon in the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Tap App settings.
  4. Scroll down to the red Danger zone section and tap Delete account.
  5. Read the warning, type the confirmation phrase the app asks for, and tap Delete.

Deletion completes immediately. You are signed out and the onboarding screen appears again — you can create a new account, use guest mode, or uninstall the app.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email (if you no longer have the app)

Send us a deletion request

Email stewpeed.dev@gmail.com from the same Google email address you used to sign in to Days. Use the template that opens when you tap the link above, or write your own with:

  • Subject: Delete my Days account
  • The Google email you signed in with (it must match the sender address)

We process deletion requests within 7 business days and reply once your data is removed. We only ask you for the sender/email match — no ID uploads, no security questions.

Cancelling a paid subscription

Deleting your account removes your Days data but does not cancel a recurring Google Play subscription. If you have an active Pro subscription, cancel it separately in the Play Store:

Cancelling stops future charges. If you cancelled inside the paid period, you keep Pro until the current period ends. Lifetime Pass buyers are unaffected — nothing recurs.

What we keep briefly after deletion

We keep a minimal record of the deletion event (a timestamp, the fact that a request was fulfilled, and no personal identifiers) for up to 30 days so we can prove the request was handled if you ask. Standard access logs at our processors (Supabase, Cloudflare) follow their own retention policies (typically 30 days). See the Privacy Policy for details.

Questions

Anything you’re not sure about? Email stewpeed.dev@gmail.com — we would rather answer a question than see a request go unfinished.
